In-line Arsenic Sensing Technology for Community Scale
When implementing any arsenic sensing technology at a community scale, it is essential to consider factors such as cost, ease of use, sensitivity, specificity, and the ability to handle many samples. Keeping in mind this information, we have developed an electrochemical sensor that can detect arsenic in water by measuring changes in current. These sensors utilize electrodes that undergo specific reactions in the presence of arsenic, producing electrical signals proportional to the concentration. This technology can be integrated into automated monitoring systems for continuous arsenic monitoring. We have been working in this direction.
